Bike BC

Information on projects supporting biking in BC, our Cycling Policy and maintaining the province’s cycling legislation. The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure provides cycling improvements on provincial infrastructure through our major projects, such as the Gateway Program, and through the ministry’s day-to-day operations, by way of our maintenance contractors. The ministry also assists with other funding programs that can invest in cycling infrastructure.

Two-wheeled commuters will be cycling to work May 30 to June 5, across British Columbia. Bike to Work Week is an annual event, led by a non-profit group, which encourages and promotes cycling as an alternate form of transportation.
