Bridging the Week in Pictures

Sometimes a picture can speak louder than words. With that in mind, we created a visual review of this week as seen through the eyes of our friends and followers around the province. Enjoy!

“The next station is Main Street/Science World…” The oldest SkyTrain station is getting an upgrade, we heard from our friends at The Buzzer this week. Their picture of an old rendering of the original station reminded us just how much Vancouver has grown over the years.

Our friends across the border in Washington State have a great blog that we like to follow so that we can keep up to speed with all things transportation, American style. Here is a great image they shared recently of one of their bridges on a snowy morning… beautiful!

A gorgeous morning sunrise shot from YXS – Prince George Airport as they dug themselves out after a heavy snowfall earlier this week.

Our Facebook fans loved this picture when we shared it this week. It reminded us of a story in the news lately about “Donna the Deer Lady” who misunderstood the meaning of wildlife crossing signs, believing that they were meant to indicate to wildlife where they should cross on the highway, not to help drivers be aware that wildlife frequently crossed the road in the area.

A beautiful picture of the Coquihalla Highway this week, captured and shared on Twitter. Thanks everyone!
